Do you build the millwork yourself?
We design it, and our trusted local cabinetmaker builds and installs it from our drawings.
Can you design built-ins for a new build?
Yes, and before closing is the best time. Planning early means outlets, lighting and blocking go in the right places.
How long does a custom millwork project take?
Your drawings are ready 3 to 4 weeks after your initial consultation and scope document recap. Once you approve the design, build and installation are scheduled with our cabinetmaker.
Can I start with one built-in and add more later?
Yes. Many clients start with one room, and we design with future pieces in mind so everything stays cohesive.
Should I choose custom millwork or an IKEA hack?
A hack can work well for a rental or a short stay. Custom makes sense when the space is awkward, the piece is a focal point, or you plan to stay. We'll tell you honestly which your project needs.
