Designer for a Day
A focused, high-impact day of design decisions — with a professional by your side.
This package is perfect when you’re ready to make decisions quickly and want a designer to guide you through the choices — so you stop second-guessing and start moving forward.
Based in Etobicoke, serving Toronto + the GTA — renovations, new builds, and decorating projects, with furnishings and finishing touches that make a home feel complete.

DESIGNER FOR A DAY
Hands-on and design-driven, this service is perfect if you already have a clear vision but want a professional’s guidance to confirm, refine, and finalize your choices.
In this focused working session, we’ll join you at retail showrooms or builder décor centres to source materials, finishes, and furnishings that align beautifully with your goals. Together, we’ll review your ideas, answer design questions, and help you build a cohesive, well-balanced scheme — one that feels intentional and uniquely yours.
You’ll benefit from expert advice and curated direction — all in one productive design day.
Design package includes:
Option I — On the Road
Up to 6 hours sourcing at retail showrooms, reviewing samples and selections you’ve gathered — vetted and refined by us.
Option II — Split Session
3 hours of showroom sourcing + 3 hours in our Etobicoke design studio, where we’ll access our extensive library of fabrics, finishes, tile, cabinetry, paint decks, hardware, and lighting samples.
Either option ensures your materials, finishes, and furnishings work together seamlessly — creating a coordinated, well-designed plan you can move forward with confidently.
Investment: $1,350 + HST (Subject to availability.)
Available following an initial consultation.
“Designer for a Day sessions are fast-paced, creative, and incredibly productive. Clients love how much clarity they gain in just a few hours — we make decisions, compare materials, and pull together combinations that would normally take weeks to finalize.”
At-A-Glance

FAQ's
Do I need a consultation first?
Yes — all projects begin with a consultation to confirm scope, goals, and the best next step.
What can we accomplish in a day?
It depends on your scope, but common goals include finish selections, lighting direction, styling/furnishing decisions, and solving “stuck” rooms.
Can this be in studio or at my home?
Yes — we’ll recommend the most effective format based on what you need to achieve.
What should I have ready before my Designer for a Day session?
After your consultation, we’ll confirm priorities for the day. Having a few inspiration images, photos of your space, and any must-keep items (or measurements, if available) helps us move quickly and make confident decisions.
Can you continue beyond one Designer for a Day session?
Yes — if you’d like ongoing support after your Designer for a Day session, we can recommend the best next step and continue into a package or full-service design.
Does travel time count?
Yes. Driving is included as part of the 6 hours when we’re travelling to showrooms/locations.
Do I receive a written recap afterward?
No — please plan to take notes. Recommendations are provided during our time together.

One day made a huge difference. We made real decisions, and I left feeling relieved and excited instead of overwhelmed.
